About the Event
DECODE will be holding its first in-person Zero Waste Workshop at DECODE MFG on Friday, March 11th at 12 noon EST!
Hosted by Danielle Elsener of DECODE, join us at the Brooklyn Navy Yard (or via live stream) for an in-depth look at Zero Waste Design context, history, modern examples, and live demonstrations of creative design thinking. This session will result in practical knowledge and paper maquettes of select Zero Waste patterns, with the ability to create a custom Zero Waste Short to your size. Expand your design thinking and Zero Waste patterning skills DECODE!
Please only sign up for one ticket type: In person or Live streaming. Physical space is limited for the in person workshop so please ensure you will be able to attend the day of the event. The in person workshop will require a negative covid test prior to entering the building.
In person: We will provide everything needed for the paper samples in person, as well as cutting and sewing tools for physical samples. Simply bring any fabric or trims you may want to use for a sample.
